Interactive exercise undertaken by CFSC team at NIUA on 28th and 29th June,2018
The CFSC team recently conducted a two day long interactive exercise at the NIUA office where employees were invited to answer the question 'A Child Friendly Smart City for me is...'. To better understand what aspects were considered the most important in planning a child friendly smart city, we requested participants to limit their response to one word per sticky note. The word could be a facility, an emotion or an aspect of urban environment that one feels is critical to the overall development of children in cities. Through this exercise, it was clear to see that planning a child friendly city involves a comprehensive inclusion of many different aspects ranging from safety, sustainability to inclusivity.
